Love of Christ Chapel International Ministries ("LOCCIM", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the LOCCIM mobile application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, the App may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:
Volunteer Information
If you submit a volunteer application, we may collect information such as your name, phone number, email address, gender, branch, membership status, date joined, address, occupation, skills, experience, departments, availability, baptism status, previous worker status, emergency contact information, reason for volunteering, comments, and any medical information you voluntarily provide in the relevant field.
Prayer Requests
If you submit a prayer request, we may collect your name and the prayer message you provide.
Testimonies
If you submit a testimony, we may collect your name and testimony message. Submitted testimonies may be reviewed by LOCCIM before being made available for public display.
Contact Information
When you use the available contact feature, you may provide your name, email address, and message so that your enquiry can be communicated to the ministry.
Administrator Information
Authorized LOCCIM administrators may use administrator authentication credentials to access protected administrative functions.
2. How We Use Information
Information provided through the App may be used to:
- Process volunteer applications and ministry participation requests.
- Receive and manage prayer requests.
- Review and manage submitted testimonies.
- Respond to enquiries and requests submitted through available contact channels.
- Provide church programmes, ministry resources, events, sermons, announcements, and other App features.
- Operate and administer the App and its backend services.
- Protect the security of administrative functions.
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations where required.
3. Public Display of Content
Some content submitted through the App, particularly approved testimonies, may be made publicly available through the App or related ministry services. We encourage you not to submit information that you do not want to be publicly displayed in a testimony or other public-content field.
4. Storage and Service Providers
Information submitted through the App may be processed by LOCCIM's application backend and stored in its database for ministry and administrative purposes.
LOCCIM also uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate parts of the App, including hosting and media-storage services. Church media such as sermons, images, videos, books, event materials, and announcement materials may be stored using third-party media infrastructure.
We do not use the App for advertising and, based on the current App implementation, the App does not use advertising or analytics SDKs to collect user activity for advertising purposes.
5. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect Through the App
The current version of the App does not request access to your device's precise location, camera, microphone, or shared device media/storage permissions.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled through the App. Communications with the production application backend use HTTPS. Administrative passwords are stored using password hashing, and protected administrative services require authentication.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including ministry administration, responding to requests, maintaining records, resolving disputes, and complying with applicable legal obligations.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, we may delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.
8. Your Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you have submitted through the App, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

9. Children's Privacy
The App is intended to provide church and ministry resources and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children for purposes unrelated to the App's functions.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App in circumstances where it should not have been collected, please contact us at mercymandate2016@gmail.com so that we can review the request.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, or applicable requirements. When changes are made, the updated version will be published at this webpage with a revised effective date.
